What is Kinesiology? Kinesiology is an energetic healing modality which involves muscle testing to ‘read’ exactly what your body, mind and soul requires and to allow any subconscious blocks and stresses to come to the surface. We always trust that whatever comes up in the session is coming through as a priority for your highest good. Any disturbances or blockages present in the energy system will be assessed in order of priority by using powerful energetic corrections which trigger the body’s own healing mechanism. Nutritional advice and supplements may be recommended where appropriate. All conditions can therefore be helped with Kinesiology by providing the optimal environment for healing to take place. How does it work? Kinesiology is based on the principle that muscles are related to certain meridian energy lines that run through the body. Each meridian line has its own path which relates to a certain muscle group and contains the life force energy often called “Chi”. Energy must flow systematically around the body to be healthy; any blockages in the flow will cause health problems. This meridian energy can be disturbed by factors such as emotional stress, nutritional deficiencies, food intolerances, allergies, chemical toxicity, electromagnetic fields as well as structural problems and injuries. Testing is implemented by putting a muscle in a certain position and applying a light pressure. If the muscle and related meridians are working correctly, the muscle will remain strong (locked) and resist the pressure. If, however, there is a problem with the muscle and related meridians, then the muscle will be weak (unlocked). This is an indication that the body is not functioning as well as it could be. Corrections are then put in place by various methods such as; gentle massage and touch on reflex and acupuncture points, use of flower remedies, nutritional supplements, emotional stress release, gentle structural realignment and suggested lifestyle changes. Kinesiology can detect imbalances in five key areas of the body; Chemical – nutrition, hormones, food intolerances/allergies Structural – bones, muscles, tissues Emotional – fears, phobias, trauma and stress Electrical – hydration, energy levels Energy – aura, chakras and energetic fields Kinesiology does not diagnose or treat disease but allows the body to reveal what it needs to restore balance and well-being.
